Work hack #25: Any reason is a good reason to celebrate

Do you remember what you were wearing on January 21st? We remember exactly what our team was wearing underneath their desks: sweatpants. Because January 21st was “International Sweatpants Day”. Almost every day of the year is a designated holiday or memorial day, some that actually commemorate an important event or socio-political issue, others that celebrate useful gadgets. Companies can make both their own. The international “Zero Discrimination Day on March 1st is a great opportunity to talk about diversity and generational exchange. Occasions like the Sweatpants Day on the other hand are just fun and remind us that we’re all just people, no matter what we usually wear.
